Mow the Grass

Do you notice how during the growing season the grass grows at a fast rate? After a rainfall it all seems to "Jump"?

Most of the time walking through tall grass is uncomfortable and you can't see into the next step so you walk a little slower....until....you mow the grass!

What's the point?

Many times in our relationship with Christ we want Jesus to do everything for us. When we do that we miss the value of putting effort into the transformation. Jesus wants you to renew your mind through His word and prayer and when we neglect to do that the enemy likes to slide through the tall grass looking for an opportunity to strike with His lies. Romans 12:2 is the fresh smell of cut grass; its the Revelation the Holy Spirit places in our hearts to keep us mowing the grass as we continue to grow. Don't allow your grass to grow up beyond what you can see. Let the truth saturate your heart and don't neglect the growing season because the smell of fresh mowed grass gives you purpose!
