"From The Bar Room to The Prayer Room"
My Story
My Story
Many people look at the bar room as somewhere you go to get an adult beverage, and typically they are correct, however, I want to give a vital perspective on the word "bar". I was behind the bars locked in an identity crisis and searching for my identity in addictions that were keeping me away from my purpose. When you come to a pivotal point in your life when your soul is on the line you begin questioning who you are or even how you got to where you are. It's the mercy of God that was sent from His grace that asks you the simple question what will it profit you to gain to whole world and lose your soul? Mark 8:36 It's then when I came to the revelation of the self-destruction, I was causing due to my own sin. God had sent, in my heart, a direct message from His that surrender and submission to Him was the only way to transformation. It has taken years of God's grace to keep me together and to put me back together even when I was falling apart. The things God created in the confines of a covenant were never meant to become twisted and perverted. Addiction is real, yet it's the deeper questions that must be asked to break the habitual self-sabotage that's keeping the pattern going. I had lived a lie long enough and Jesus knew I needed Him, and I know now because of the transformation and change I have been through, coming out from behind the bars of an identity crisis, it's time for you to do the same. Being confident of this very thing that He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it until the Jesus returns! Philippians 1:6. It is my passion to guide, encourage, exhort, and enlighten others, that the permanent fill of the Holy Spirit that indwells within us is by far the most exciting, intriguing, and beautiful person who lives inside of a believer in Jesus Christ. I'm Crystalyn Mason and I found my identity on my knees in a prayer room and my purpose through the One who found me, a sheep who needed the shepherd!
